1950s 2 band battery portable transistor radio housed in a plastic case with chrome trim. The first all transistor radio built by Bush.
Bush TR 82C transistor radio has a case made of pale blue/green coloured plastic with a large, round, tuning dial and blue rexine (faux leather) sides. The Bush logo letters are chrome plated metal, attached to the front panel individually by fixing pins. Designed by David Ogle, the iconic, ergonomic styling of the TR 82, first introduced as the MB 60, proved so popular that Bush went on to release several model variants with additions such as headphone sockets.
