Lovely old Victorian brass cornet in need of a refurbishment or simply to display and enjoy. Two of the valves are a bit sticky and some tubing is missing but we think it would make a good project to bring to back life a cornet of this age. The age was determined by the addresses engraved on the bell. 2 Victoria Street and 131 Great Ducie Street in Manchester. This combination seems to superceded by 127 Strangeways by 1880.
