This vintage HOKADA 3164 c1970 classical deluxe guitar made in Japan – Stentor Music Ltd

LOOK: This guitar is nice looking with the head being particularly attractive with its veneer, it features lots of trimmings and details that deluxe models only feature (see list).

FEEL: It feels good in the hand and not overly played from what I can see. It’s over 50 years old so the tones are nice and mature. Fitted with new strings and serviced.

• New strings
• Striped bindings
• Veneered head
• Skunk stripe neck
• Pinstripe back
• Mature wood

This one is a higher end model with lots of deluxe features such as an attractive rosette, striped bindings, veneered head, skunk stripe neck, pinstriped back etc. Certainly not basic features.

Please note: The guitar is a vintage one and shows signs of minor repairs and replaced parts such as the tuning knobs over its lifespan of over 50 years – it’s not mint but check out the photos to appraise. I’ve priced it with that in mind for someone who wants vintage at a good price.
