Musical Barrel with Glasses Swiss Musical Movement Made in Spain

Musical barrel for decanting liquor brandy, whisky or wine. Made in Spain at San Feliu de Guixols in the Costa Brava near Girona.

The music plays when a glass is lifted from the holder and a Swiss musical movement – by Reuge, Ste. Croix, Switzerland – plays a tune. The movement is marked “Manolete” which may refer to the tune.
