Yamaha G-50A Vintage Nippon Gakki Classical Acoustic Guitar
The Yamaha G-50A was manufactured between 1969-1972 as an economy model for guitarists with and eye on a good quality instrument. This particular unit was manufactured in Japan (Nippon Gakki Co) in 1971. Nice patina and sounds very good.
The back and sides are made of Katsura, one of the largest hardwood trees growing throughout Japan (described as Judaswood in the Yamaha 1971 catalogue). Neck is made of nato. Fingerboard and bridge are made of bubinga. Scale length (nut to bridge) 658mm.
